I love the character of Irma from Picnic at Hanging Rock because she clearly only has intimacy & tenderness with women but sees men as a necessity/goal that she must have to validate herself and feel like she is participating as she should in society & pursues Michael simply for the end goal of having him because obviously she must, like wow…the mood of the first like 18 years of my life
